Committee: Education Committee
Mission Statement
Serving under the Vice President for Education and Research, this committee is responsible for all PPAG Conferences and online CE programs. This committee identifies topics and speakers for PPAG Educational Programs. Members with skills in conference planning, and clinical practice should consider serving on this committee.
The Board charges the Education Committee with the following goals for 2010:
- Continue identification of topics for and development of home-study programs for aged-based competencies for Pediatrics to meet Joint Commission requirement.
- Develop and organize educational content for the Specialty Conference for Chronic Diseases.
- Develop and organize educational content for the Annual Conference and PPAG Annual Meeting
- Develop programming 2010 ASHP Midyear Clinical Meetings.
- Develop and organize general educational programs for the 2011 Annual Meeting (location to be announced).
