The Pediatric Pharmacy Association hosted the Georgia Chapter of iCAN - KIDS (Kids and Families Impacting Disease through Science) during the 25th Annual PPAG Meeting. On Saturday, April 30, 2016, 3 patients and 2 youth leaders gave the Keynote Address to over 400 pediatric pharmacists from around the world.

The KIDS initiative is an advisory group of children, adolescents and families focused on understanding, communicating and improving the process of medical innovation for children. KIDS is sponsored by the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) Section on Advances in Therapeutics and Technology (SATT) in collaboration with the CTAAP Chapter and children's hospitals.
