PPA News

We are pleased to announce that beginning with the Fall Conference in September, we will be returning to in-person conferences! While we are excited about our return to an in-person conference, we understand that some of you will be unable to travel, so we will hold our first hybrid conference this fall. The Fall Conference, offering educational blocks in Ambulatory Care, Medication Safety and Technology, and Preceptor Development, will be our first hybrid event, with both in-person and virtual options for our attendees. The conference will continue to offer poster presentation opportunities and the Pediatric Pharmacy Residency Showcase. Please join us in person or virtually September 23-26, 2021 at the Sheraton Capitol Square in Columbus, Ohio.

Following the successful delivery of the BCPPS Review and Recertification Course via a virtual format, the course will continue to be offered in an all-virtual format. We will also move the course to August 19-22, 2021 so that it takes place before the BCPPS testing window.

PPA is committed to offering our members the most affordable Continuing Pharmacy Education and BCPPS Recertification credits. Both of these programs will offer early bird rates of $300/$340 for regular members. That's $15 per CE credit hour and $20 per BCPPS credit hour (with major discounts for residents and students). What a great deal!

Be on the look-out for more information about these Conferences, which will be sent in the coming days and weeks. Registration will open next week.

If you are considering traveling in September, we recommend checking out flights soon. We’ve heard Southwest might have some good rates.

As we return to meeting again, we’d like to thank you for your support of PPA during the pandemic. We have been able to traverse difficult waters and even grow stronger in doing so. We are looking forward to our return to hugs, handshakes, and fist/elbow bumps soon.

Sincerely,
