Recertification Curriculum Guide for PICU Pharmacists
PPAG University's Recertification Program requires that you earn 100 units over 7 years. Below is a year-by-year Guide to earn BCPPS Recertification if you are a PICU Specialist. The Guide assumes you have earned your BCPPS credentials in 2015 or 2016. However, the pattern below will repeat in the following years. Remember, you are not required to follow this Curriculum Guide. It is a guide that optimizes your Recertification goals by aligning content with your professional develop goals. You can customize your program to fit your needs. PPAG University offers you ample opportunities to achieve BCPPS Recertification. The goal of this Curriculum Guide is to help you plan your live meeting/conference attendance.
The advantage of this Guide is the Annual Meetings. In 2017, 2019, and 2021, the Annual Meeting will offer dedicated PICU educational blocks. During these Annual Meetings the PICU block will be partnered with three of the Core PPAG Specialty Areas (Medication Safety, Ambulatory Care, Infectious Disease)
If you attend The Annual Meeting in 2017, 2019, and 2021 and the Fall Conference in 2016, 2018, 2020, and 2022 (substituting the Recertification Course in one of those years), you could earn 74 live Recertification Units, allowing you to earn 26 units via home-study programs.
