This webinar will offer a review of acetaminophen, toxic alcohol, calcium channel blocker, and beta blocker overdoses.
Learning Objectives for Pharmacists
At the end of this session, participants will be able to:
1. Differentiate common toxidromes and identify appropriate uses and dosing of antidotes
2. Design a safe and effective treatment regimen for acetaminophen, toxic alcohol, calcium channel blocker, and beta blocker overdoses in pediatric patients
3. Identify clinical considerations for select drug therapies used in toxicologic emergencies

Logan Doriety, PharmD
Logan Doriety is a current PGY2 Critical Care Pharmacy Resident at New Hanover Regional Medical Center. She is from Florence, South Carolina and completed her undergraduate coursework and pharmacy school at The University of South Carolina. Logan completed her PGY1 Pharmacy Resident at New Hanover Regional Medical Center. Her practice interests include medical intensive care and emergency medicine.
