Pharmacogenomics can guide pharmacotherapy of patients receiving treatment in the areas of pain management, neurology, gastrointestinal disorders, infectious diseases and HIV as well as cardiology and oncology. This webinar will focus on the most common applications of pharmacogenomics in the pediatric population.
Learning Objectives for Pharmacists:
At the end of this session, participants will be able to:
1. Identify the most commonly prescribed pharmacogenomics tests in pediatrics.
2. Demonstrate an understanding of how to modify a medication regimen based on a person's pharmacogenomic profile.
