Structured with the adult learner in mind, the Conference offers over 40 programs that will interest clinicians, pharmacy leaders and administrators, pharmacy informatics professionals, residents, students, and academics. Most importantly, the Fall Specialty Conference is designed by pediatric pharmacists for pediatric pharmacists! The Conference offers participants the ability to earn up to 20 ACPE accredited continuing education credits and up to 8 BPS-approved BCPPS recertification hours. The 2019 PPAG Fall Specialty Meeting features two focused educational blocks:

Friday, September 20: Bluegrass Concert sponsored by Dr. and Mrs. Robert Kuhn! 27 South will be offering this exclusive performance for the PPAG Fall Conference. 27 South is a central Kentucky Bluegrass group that was founded in 1998. The band first formed as a father, daughter and friend trio and have evolved 20 years later into a 6-member group. Members are Greg Ives on banjo, Porter Corum of fiddle, Terry Coffield on lead guitar, Ken Record on mandolin, Dave Frost on bass, and Donna Lavaughn Frost on rhythm guitar and vocals. 27 South ca be heard playing several diverse forms of bluegrass from the styles of Fall and Scruggs to Allison Krause and Union Station.

A Unique Venue: The University of Kentucky College of Pharmacy in Lexington, Kentucky
To maximize the educational sessions and your conference experience, the Fall Conference will take place at the University of Kentucky College of Pharmacy. The distance from the Hyatt Is approximately 1.4 miles. Transportation (bus service) from the hotel (details below) will be available two hours in the morning and two hours in the afternoon (but not during the day). The University of Kentucky is a smoke-free campus.
Since its inception 1870, the University of Kentucky College of Pharmacy has been known for two things: boldness and innovation. This proud tradition comes alive each and every day in the world’s largest pharmacy building located in Lexington, Kentucky. This state-of-the-art science complex hosts their nationally ranked pharmacy program and is where our Conference will take place.
Lexington, Kentucky is strategically located at the intersection of interstates 64 and 75 in Fayette County, Kentucky, which is within a day's drive of most of our members. Nestled among the world famous Thoroughbred hourse farms, Blue Grass Airport (LEX) welcomes travelers with one of the most beautiful air approaches in the nation. Lexington is accesible by air with approximately 100 direct and nonstop flights.

Hyatt Regency Lexington
While the Fall Conference will be held at the University of Kentucky College of Pharmacy, attendees will be lodging at the Hyatt Regency Lexington as it has been chosen as the official meeting hotel for the Fall Conference. The distance from the Hyatt to the UK College of Pharmacy is approximately 1.4 miles. Bus service will be available for two hours in the morning and afternoon (but not during the day).
Meeting participants are responsible for booking their own room reservations and paying for sleeping room nights. PPAG has negotiated a group rate of $149.00 per night for a single/double room. Major credit cards required to make reservations. To make your reservations, please call Hyatt at 1-800-233-1234. You must indicate that you are attending the "Pediatric Pharmacy Advocacy Group event" in order to receive the discounted rate.
The deadline for making your reservation is August 29, 2019 at 6:00 pm eastern.)
For Conference Registration: Full refunds will be given through July 31, 2019. Between August 1, 2019 and August 29, 2019 a 75% refund will be given. After August 29, 2018, no refunds will be given. However, balances can be transferred to future conferences.
