Job Details - Clinical Assistant/Associate Professor - Pediatric Intensive Care

The Department of Pharmacotherapy and Translational Research invites applications for a full-time, 12-month, non-tenure track position in pediatrics at the rank of Clinical Assistant or Associate Professor. The successful candidate will contribute to a partnership in which College of Pharmacy faculty share responsibilities for clinical practice in UF Health Shands Hospital and contribute to the teaching mission of the College. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching; service to the College of Pharmacy, Hospital, and the pharmacy profession; scholarly activity; and maintaining a successful clinical pharmacy practice. Clinical practice responsibilities will account for 70% of the total effort. The successful candidate will report to the Chair of the Department of Pharmacotherapy and Translational Research with clinical reporting responsibility to the Director of Pharmacy or designee in the UF Health Shands Department of Pharmacy.
Preferred Qualifications: Successful completion of a PGY2 residency or fellowship in pediatrics is preferred. Applicants who recently completed a PGY2 residency are strongly encouraged to apply. Previous teaching experience, demonstrated scholarship, and experience in mentoring students and/or residents is preferred.
