Summary

Dr. Bob John, PharmD, BCPS, BCPPS will conduct a 1-hour knowledge-based continuing education webinar program on Being Competent on Competencies. This program will aim to provide guidance on the development of core competencies within pediatric hospitals. The content will focus on strategies to develop core competencies as well as discuss what options are currently available through existing organizations.

Learning Objectives:
At the end of this session, participants will be able to:
1. Describe strategies used to develop core competencies
2. List characteristics of core competency programs
3. Identify resources for pediatric core competencies


Accreditation:
ACPE logo PPAG has accredited this knowledge-based webinar for 1.0 contact hours (0.10 CEUs) of continuing education credit for pharmacists. UAN #: 0180-0000-19-006-H04-P.

The Pediatric Pharmacy Advocacy Group is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education as a provider of continuing pharmacy education. In order to receive credit, participants must register for the program, attend the program, and fill out a post-program survey. Webinar programs are 100% supported through program registration fees and PPAG membership dues, and is not supported by Industry.
